Comprising superior quality, solid injection molded plastic components with a simple snap-fit design that allows for easy assembly without the need for glue, SkyMarks 1/150 Scale United Boeing 727-100 measures approximately 11-1/8-inches long with a 7-1/2-inch wingspan and comes complete with a Display Stand. An accurate, true-to-scale reproduction of the actual aircraft, the model is great for collectors and features authentic, highly detailed graphics and markings. United and Eastern were the initial launch customers for the Boeing 727-100, which first flew in February 1963. Mainly used for domestic flights, the Boeing 727-100 is a narrow-body airliner that was developed to address the demand for smaller aircraft for use on shorter flights from smaller airports. Boeing ended production of the 727 series in September 1984, having built a total of 1,832 planes.
